About the Episode:

In fact a little over 10 years ago, he was completely broke and living on his sister’s couch—not even able to afford rent.
Originally from a small town in Ohio, Lewis got into sports in high school and pretty quickly excelled on the football field. He went on to play professional arena football, but an injury landed him out of the sport permanently.
After taking some time to recover, get back on his feet, and begin figuring out what he wanted to do with his life now that football was out of the picture, Lewis turned back to his interest in sports marketing and began combining that with social media. Pretty soon, he launched his first business as a LinkedIn consultant and about the same time began sharing publicly about his life & business over on his blog. And the rest is history.

Great interview, Ryan! A ton of good information and examples on being unique and adding value. Lewis sounds like a really nice and down to earth guy. I don’t always get to listen to your podcasts, but when I do I really get a lot out of them! Thanks for that.

Many people fail to believe it’s possible to go from broke to millionaire in 5 years or less. It’s nothing more than a state of mind. If a person is going to start a business, it’s a good idea to start a business doing something they love to do. This way, it’s not seen as work and it’ll be something that they’ll stay working on for virtually a lifetime. Agree? 🙂
