This is a great idea! I’m making my video resume tonight. I’m an interior designer and this seems like a great way to showcase who I am and what I can offer a company in a creative setting. On paper, I have found it hard to explain to potential employers how passionate I am about this career and unless I get to the interview stage, I don’t have the opportunity to show them this. This video resume should help greatly! Can’t wait to get started!

I wish I would have known about a professional platform like this when I was job searching! I definitely struggled the most to land that first interview and actually get in front of the employer, yet that is really the only time where I could let my personality shine through. I always had confidence in myself once I finally had that opportunity face to face but submitting a paper resume online in an attempt to get to that point, I never did. I feel like a video resume would have skipped all that uncertain waiting around and allowed me to actually show who I am up front, which is a game changer!

A job is definitely a good thing for people to have especially if you’re looking to bootstrap their side hustle business working from the ground floor up and not resort business loans. This is my personal opinion because it’s easy to take out a loan. But it’s not easy to pay back a business loan. I hate debt and paid off a credit card recently. And no one likes personal debt over their heads. So it’s a good idea to create a video resume that’ll help anyone land a good paying job.

But also bear in mind that job means “just over broke.” Always have a mind to save part of your biweekly paycheck for investing in your side hustle, whether it’s money saved on decide to pay your domain name and hosting fees annually, money to invest in your PPC “pay per click” advertising, etc.

There’s virtually no more job security in today’s world of employment uncertainty. Good news is, creating a good video resume will hopefully help the ambitious job seeker get their creative entrepreneurial juices flowing in using video to their ability to enhance their entrepreneurial hand at achieving the future status of “side hustle millionaire.”
