About the Episode:
In today’s episode, we’re talking to Daniel Kempe and Matt Spurr, co-founders of Quuu, the platform where you can connect your social media accounts and get free, daily hand-curated content suggestions to automatically be shared to your followers.
Daniel and Matt also launched their paid product called Quuu Promote back in late 2015-early 2016 where bloggers, content marketers, and social media managers can pay a flat monthly fee to submit regular content for consideration to be shared out through Quuu’s nearly 60,000 connected users.
As of today’s recording in January of 2018, the company is generating over $31,000 in Monthly Recurring Revenue. But, things weren’t always looking so great for Daniel and Matt. In 2015, they’d been running a creative agency together for the past couple of years and that journey was filled with ups and downs.
Sometimes they’d have a ton of client work, yet at other times, they’d be scrambling to fill their pipeline of future clients and on top of that, every now and then, some of their clients wouldn’t pay up for the work they’d done them. Eventually, the two made the decision that they needed to pursue a different kind of business and Quuu was thus born as a side project out of their creative agency.

I see much future success for these amazing entrepreneurs who came up with this quality service to help content marketers reach their full internet marketing potential. This side hustle stuff pretty much has everyone’s secret ambition slowly but surely coming out of them because traditional employment today is virtually obsolete. Narcissist employers want to enslave their employees and crack the whip. People want a way out of that but they don’t know how. What we need to do is emphasize more about the side hustle such as affiliate marketing, blogging, and provide amazing services like Quuu to help people reach their target audience and keep them engaged in longevity, thus helping them to convert more eyeballs into repeat sales. I look forward to seeing these guys hopefully someday in Forbes Magazine. 🙂
