Hey Ali! Thanks for giving me some great context here. My take is that site age is probably the biggest factor slowing down the growth of your site in terms of SEO traffic… so my advice is to keep doing all the right things, knowing that in the long-term it’ll pay off. It’s weird though that your posts aren’t picking up any keywords—I assume this is from looking at your data in Google Search Console?

It’s highly likely that your site just needs a lot of links from other authoritative sites in order to start climbing up the Google EEAT ladder and earn that street cred the only real, sustainable way (guest post like crazy would be my advice: https://www.ryrob.com/guest-blogging/ — feel free to email me with a topic pitch anytime)

Hey Ryan!

My blog is about 6 months old and I have around 40 blog posts. I make sure to maintain the quality of my posts and do all the necessary on-page optimization. I don’t think my blog posts are any less than the ones ranking on top.

But here’s the deal. Almost all of my posts are indexed. But my posts are not ranking for any keyword. From August to September 2022, one or two of my posts got ranked and I got some impressions but suddenly after the 1 month period, they weren’t there anymore and not a single post has ranked for any keyword since then.

I don’t know whats the problem and it’s kind of driving me crazy.

Anyways, thanks for this insightful post. The first thing I’m gonna do is register my blog on the online directories you mentioned.

Your post is very helpful and clear, as I read I feel like I can do it but then the list keeps going and I end up feeling overwhelmed! 🙁 not by your content which is great, simply by the fact that it is plenty of work, or more than that, many different fronts and tools one needs to manage… Still thank you, for translating many of it in easy-to-digest content, I am grateful 🙂
