Yep! A bio link would be a link back to (usually) your homepage in the bio section of your article—which is usually at the bottom. Body links—yep, contextual links to relevant content on both your blog and other blogs/publications/websites to give readers an opportunity to dive deeper on a value-adding topic that you can’t cover in-depth with this article. I’ve had a pitch accepted by a major travel blog (which I’m super excited about!) and the topic of my guest post is something I am knowledgeable about, but which is sufficiently distinct from my own travel blog’s niche.

You mention that I should expect a “bio link”, I assume you mean in my biography on their website I will get a link back to my own blog. And by “body link” you mean in the body of the post, is that correct?

I’m referring to this section of your post: “Most bloggers will expect you to provide a guest post in return for a bio link (and maybe one more link in the body)—but generally without a guarantee of other links within the post.”
